Day22. Bryce to Boulder and back to Zion.

Relaxed am, and hit the road North for Boulder Utah.. not far, but a slow and oh so many photo stop road!!!!!! had a few close up encounters with small lizards.. mostly they don't let you get close. but one or two did, and are now part of the trip album .. Boulder was very smal but nice. Found a genuine local cafe, with local art work and good coffee and coffe cake and chocolate chip muffins...yum.. Left there a fair bit poorer, with some lovely local clay pottery. Route 12 is designated destination itself, and it is well worth it. WAY better than the Cody to Yellowstone road. Boulder is at 6500ft amsl (above mean sea level) and apparently if we'd driven North another 20 minutes or so, we'd have been at 11500 ft.. yikes!!! and we met a couple of ; not young; guys on push bikes heading that way!!! whew!! they were biking "coast to coast". the lady at the cafe said that "the mountain does get a few people!!!"
Retraced our path back to Bryce Canyon, and then on to Zion National Park.. This place is HUGE.. I doubt very much that I will be able to give any real idea of scale with the photos, but I'll have fun trying, and you can all yawn as much as you like, or just not look at the web album.. that is of course if I actually make it work..
Bit of RK action today .. a few usa's and a deer that was occupying a few quite separate places on a piece of asphalt at the same time!!! short blog.. being mobbed by the local equivalent of san flies...
